Description
"When we bought this house nothing had been updated for almost 40 years but we could see the potential of what a fabulous home it could become, it had “good bones”. Being an interior designer I poured all my ideas into this property making it the lovely home that it is now.
We moved here because the location is beautiful. The Cul-de-sac is nestled into one of the local forests and it also backs on to a lovely park, all of which have great walking paths and best of all just a two minute walk from the house to the delightful Golden Retriever gastro pub.
We hadn’t planned on moving from here but unfortunately due to work and family commitments we are very reluctantly selling up and leaving some of the best neighbours we have ever had."
Area Comments...
Stratfield is a quiet cul-de-sac towards the top of Wooden Hill and backing onto the local recreation ground and pavilion. Surrounded by Swinley Forest and a gentle 5-10 minute walk to The Golden Retriever pub, it's a great location for anyone wanting somewhere quiet and surrounded by woodland.
Bracknell Town Centre and Train Station are 5-10 mins away by car, and access to both M3 & M4 motorway networks is within a few minutes drive as well.
Matt & Sanjay's Comments...
We're not sure where to begin! There are so many gorgeous design features and we've never seen one of these houses turned into something so modern and so practical. It's a credit to the owners and designers involved here. Quite possibly the nicest house we've ever seen in Bracknell.
