The Location
The property sits nicely back from The Street in Worth village with some delightful period properties and facilities including the Church of St. Peter & St. Paul, two local inns and primary school. It lies about 1.5 miles south of the Cinque Port town of Sandwich with its many fine timber buildings and being renowned for the Royal St. George's Golf Course where the 2011 Open Championship took place. There are other highly regarded Golf Courses nearby and the town has a good range of shops and amenities including boating in the mouth of the river Stour, with the coast nearby and schools including the Sir Roger Manwoood Grammar schools. The high speed Javelin train commuter service from Sandwich via Dover and Ashford to London St. Pancras takes approximately 80 minutes.
